Like so many others, Joe Rogan is moving out of California. He lists high taxes, incompetent government, overcrowding, among other things as the reason for his move.

This is a logical move for many who have the option. As mismanaged governments go farther and farther into bankruptcy many will choose to raise taxes which will make the problem even worse by causing the wealthy to exit in mass. As our society becomes more mobile, politicians better learn fast to treat their citizens more like clients, instead of employees.

These moves between states are only the first step. As the economy and society of the United States continues it’s downward trajectory prospects will look even better abroad. I think that by the time this dawns on many, US citizens may not be as welcome by countries around the world as they are today.
